Despite the fact that I’m pro Jonathan, I must say I don’t advocate for corruption or against probing GEJ or any other ex government officials.
Nigeria is bigger than any single individual. All decisions must be taken in the interest of this nation.
Those who looted our common wealth must be made to return it by using all constitutional means available.
As far as I’m concerned, corruption has no political party, no religion nor ethnic group.
My issue with President Buhari’s corruption campaign is him limiting the probing to just GEJ. It makes it look like a witch-hunting charade and selective humiliation with ethnic coloration.
I’m certain this PMB’s investigation of GEJ would not have happened if Jonathan was from the North and had been a retired Army General.
Why can’t Buhari open the Halliburton scandal and openly prosecute Obasanjo, Abdusalami, Atiku Abubakar and every other corrupt Nigerians named in the said scandal. As Nigerians, we are interested in this case.
Like a popular proverb said, “He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.”
